HOW TO RECAPTURE JOY AFTER LOSS

Dealing With Grief

After having gone through substantial loss, we are being exposed to a wide variety of feelings. The ever-changing emotions we experience with grief can catch us off guard, causing us to  act out of character, or differently than our typical personality and demeanor.

​

It may be hard for you to feel optimistic about the future. If you’ve lost a spouse, child, family member, or friend, you’ve probably found there are not many people who understand the deep hurt you feel.

 

While grieving a job loss, a divorce, a separation, estrangement from a child, or the loss of friends because of a move, there can be confusing times when you feel isolated and have many questions about things you’ve never faced before.

​

I offer you a support system to help you navigate through your grief journey, at your own pace.

​

​

While family and friends are vital, unless they have experienced a close personal loss, they most likely don’t fully “get it” and might actually - though be it with good intentions - increase the feeling of disconnect. 

​

This is where a session with a counselor comes in as a valuable resource.

​

We'll either meet in the comfort of your own home or arrange for a quiet location to gather. An online meeting through Skype or Facetime is also possible. 

​

These sessions can be booked individually and do not require any prior preparations. 

​
